  • Nizar Sassi, male, age 38, French of Tunisian descent, was detained in Guantanamo from February 15, 2002 until July 26, 2004, when he was returned to France. In 2012, Sassi and two other former French detainees filed a criminal complaint in Paris against the U.S. for use of torture in Guantanamo.
