Lè moun achte an dola men yo vann an goud, sa kreye anpil pwoblèm. Kriz goud la frape anpil sektè ann Ayiti, soti nan pwodiksyon agrikòl rive nan pwodiksyon nan izin, epi sa anpeche Ayiti konpetitif sou mache mondyal. Yo reponn a kesyon oditè. Animasyon Grégory Casimir.
Economist Jean-Claude Paulvin of ECOSOF and foodstuff importer and agronomist Hébert Docteur discuss the economic crisis and the depreciation of the Haitian gourde in relation to the US dollar. When people buy in dollars but sell in gourdes, this can create problems and even drive people into backruptcy. The electoral crisis worsens the economic crisis, because international aid money is dependent on whether elections happen. The gourde crisis affects many sectors in Haiti, from agricultural production to factory production, and prevents Haiti from being competitive on the world market. They respond to listener questions. Hosted by Grégory Casimir.
