Les préparations pour la Marche englobent des associations de tout le pays, telles que Fanm Deside dans le Sud-Est et AFASDA dans le Nord. Les lois actuelles d'Haïti ne protègent pas suffisamment les femmes. Preparations for the march involve women's organizations from throughout the country, including Fanm Deside in the Sud-Est and AFASDA in the Nord. Existing laws in Haiti do not adequately protect women. Florence Norcéus of Kay Fanm explains that each organization works in its own domain (law, health, and so on) but that they collaborate.
