Yo pale de libète lapawòl, teyat popilè, ak kesyon betiz ( « grivoiseries » ) — ki wòl yo jwe, ak kisa yo vle di, nan kreyasyon atistik epi nan kilti ayisyen (pa egzanp, nan Fèt Gede). Atis, ekriven, komedyen, jounalis, dramatij, ak entelektyèl siyen yon petisyon pou pwoteste kont dekrè sansi sa a. Emisyon an gen ladan l tou lòt ekstrè sonò sou lòt bagay - chantè kiben Orlando Contreras nan ayewopò Pòtoprens, pa egzanp. (Nou ka jwenn anrejistreman konplè tab wonn sa a nan RL10059RR0116.)
Jean Dominique, Konpè Filo, Jacques Jean-Baptiste, Guy Meyer, Sony Bastien, Marvel Dandinm and host Harold Isaac discuss government censorship and the theatre, after the government issued a communiqué on 9 May 1979 censoring the content of theatrical productions after Frankétienne's "Pèlin-Tèt" came out. They discuss freedom of speech, community theatre, and the place and meaning of provocative content, including vulgarity, in art and in Haitian culture (such as Fèt Gede). Artists, writers, actors, journalists, playwrights, and intellectuals write a petition in protest of the censorship decree. Includes brief clips of other programs, including Cuban singer Orlando Contreras at the Port-au-Prince airport. (Note: full recording of the roundtable discussion can be found at RL10059RR0116.)
