- Caricature of Alexandre Millerand (1859-1943) as a dog (or rabbit?) smoking a cigar. Millerand was a socialist politician, editor of La Petite Republique, and later Prime Minister (1920) and President of France (1920-1924). During the Dreyfus Affair, Millerand served as Minister of Commerce in Waldeck-Rousseau's cabinet, which supported Dreyfus. Hand colored.
