  • Summary: Copy of a financial record created by A. B. Dyer totaling expenses and credits associated with Rosetta, a "runaway slave" who was ordered by county court to be sold. Recto dated "8 June 1863". There are lines for: "voucher for taking up" ($75); "jail" ($33.80); sheriff ($12.30); clerk ($2.90); "jointers[?]" ($3.30); and the commonwealth of Kentucky ($3.30). Dyer writes that "vouchers for credits are herewith filed". The verso lists "Writ procurs", which are transactions from June 22 and July 29, 1864 related to Rosetta.
