| The men always say that they had so much faith | 0:00 | |
| and trust in United States government, | 0:03 | |
| but turned out to be that was not what they expected | 0:06 | |
| and they were disappointed. | 0:09 | |
| I was too... I was disappointed | 0:10 | |
| in, um, legal system in US, | 0:13 | |
| and the uh, the constitution we have in this great country. | 0:16 | |
| How our forefathers built this country | 0:23 | |
| on based on what values, what happened | 0:26 | |
| in Guantanamo was not what I understood of the constitution. | 0:29 | |
| I often think that... | 0:34 | |
| what if, you know, forefathers | 0:37 | |
| they see, they know what's happening today in Guantanamo | 0:41 | |
| how they feel about this.. | 0:44 | |
| but um... | 0:47 | |
| I always have my faith and trust in government | 0:49 | |
| that they are going to correct this mistake | 0:52 | |
| and do the right thing. | 0:54 | |
| Especially when President Obama came | 0:55 | |
| to the office, almost like next day | 0:58 | |
| he announced that he was going to shut | 1:01 | |
| down Guantanamo within one year, | 1:04 | |
| and I was so excited! | 1:07 | |
| I had tears in my eyes. | 1:08 | |
| Finally, finally, it's going to be corrected. | 1:10 | |
| You know, everybody makes mistakes, but the most | 1:13 | |
| important thing is who's willing to correct that mistake. | 1:16 | |
| But now we are approaching that deadline | 1:21 | |
| in a couple of weeks, | 1:25 | |
| and it's not going to happen. | 1:26 | |
| So those are the kind of things disappoints me | 1:29 | |
| and I, I guess my 20 years in the United States, | 1:32 | |
| I always want to see the great side of the United States. | 1:40 | |
| But then last eight years, what I have endured | 1:45 | |
| what I have experienced in Guantanamo was not | 1:48 | |
| the side that I want to see of my country here. | 1:51 |
