	And so then what happened was that they operated on me.	0:12
	The doctor was standing behind me and he started to operate.	0:16
	And what he did was he put me to sleep.	0:19
	He gave me an anesthetic,	0:21
	but I thought he was going to give me a general anesthetic,	0:23
	but what he did was a half anesthetic	0:26
	which means that I was semi-conscious.	0:28
	Why? He had his reasons.	0:31
	This way he could go on with the operation	0:33
	while at the same time so I could feel the surgery,	0:35
	the pain from the surgery.	0:38
	And at the same time,	0:39
	interrogators were asking me questions.	0:40
	So that is a technique, apparently well-documented.	0:43
	Later I found out it was a commonly used technique.	0:46
	At the same time as they were operating on me,	0:49
	they were interrogating me.	0:51
	That meant that I endured the pain of the surgery	0:53
	while at the same time I was facing two interrogators	0:56
	who are interrogating me and bombarding me with questions	0:59
	throughout the surgery actually.	1:02
	That's a fact.	1:04
	So that went on for, I don't know, a very, very long time.	1:05
	And at that point I really was in pain.	1:09
