| embedded in an overall university structure | 8:09 | |
| with so many different professional schools | 8:11 | |
| and access to those professional schools for undergraduates. | 8:14 | |
| - | I'm an engineering student and I wanted to come somewhere | 8:17 |
| where I could disguise myself as an engineering student | 8:20 | |
| but really get into a lot of liberal arts | 8:23 | |
| kinds of studies and it's turned out great. | 8:25 | |
| - | It's a great place to party, | 8:29 |
| but it's a great place to study too. | 8:31 | |
| Work hard and play hard. | 8:33 | |
| I guess that's pretty standard. | 8:34 | |

| but it's not so pressured towards that | 8:38 | |

| - | Just today there were 102,000 invitations that went out | 11:18 |
| so that every alumnus and alumnae, every faculty member, | 11:22 | |
| every student, every employee, every administrator | 11:27 | |
| and the parents of all current students | 11:30 | |
| received an invitation to this. | 11:33 | |
| - | The trustees have chosen you, sir, | 11:36 |
| to the presidency of this university. | 11:38 | |
| The trustees are confident of the wisdom of their choice. | 11:41 | |

| they gave us a lot of good times at Cameron Indoor stadium. | 15:10 | |

| in our athletic program, | 15:22 | |

| I think that also unified the campus, brought it together, | 15:26 | |
| the spirit and excitement, and it put Duke out | 15:30 | |
| in every newspaper in America | 15:32 | |
| with extraordinarily good public relations affect. | 15:34 | |
