The following life lessons were expounded upon along with excerpts from "I beg to differ": 1. Even if it hurts it's never too late to get woke. 2. It takes cultural repentance to make the world a better place. 3. The bad guys always fear education. 4. If you are going to be religious, find the right God. 5. Prison walls can't break free spirits. 6. Sharing the pain of others is a sacred gift. 7. When churches get broken, people are made whole. 8. Even great souls can be corroded. 9. Making peace is so much harder than making war. 10. Some lessons seem to have to be learnt all over again by each generation.
