Diz an aprè vòt istorik 29 mas 1987, lè pèp la vote “wi”nan referandòm konstitisyonèl la, Radyo Ayiti redifize editoryal Jean Dominique te fè an mas 1987. Nan premye a, li eksplike enpòtans vòt la, epi li pale ak plizyè moun k ap tann nan biwo vòt la. Moun yo di yo espere vòt sa a vle di yon lòt epòk pral kòmanse epi makoutis ap kaba. Nan dezyèm nan, li pale sou kesyon patisipasyon malere nan vòt la (ouvriyè, ti peyizan, moun k ap travay kay moun, moun ki analfabèt). Radyo Ayiti te difize tout tèks konstitisyon an, pou tout moun te ka konprann li.
Ten years after the historical "yes" vote on the March 29, 1987 constitutional referendum, Radio Haiti rebroadcasts Jean Dominique's editorials from March 1987. He both describes the importance of the vote and interviews several people as they line up at the voting centers. The speakers hope this vote will mean a new era, the end of Macoutism. In the second, he addresses the question of participation of traditionally excluded demographics (laborers, peasant farmers, servants, illiterate people — in short, the poor) in the vote. Radio Haiti had read the entire constitution, article by article, on the air, so that everyone would understand it.
