(00:00:00) Dieuseul Anglade, responsab Biwo Min yo, demanti ke konpayi minyè Ste. Geneviève ap eksplwate lò ak lajan nan Mòn Bosa, zòn Milo. Dapre Anglade, se kèk echantiyon y ap pran. Peyizan nan zòn nan ap reziste aktivite konpayi minyè a. Anglade di peyizan yo pa gen rezon lè y ap denonse aktivite min yo kòm pati yon plan neyoliberal privatizasyon, epi li deklare Ste. Geneviève gendwa kite zòn nan si yo kontinye ap jwenn rezistans konsa, 1997-06-17 (00:05:29) Majistra Milo a eksplike revandikasyon peyizan nan zòn nan. Yo ta renmen pou yon baraj fèt avan konpayi min yo kòmanse ap eksplwate. Li dekri tou ki jefò ap fèt pou pwoteje Palè San Sousi a ansanm avèk Sitadèl la, pou moun pa anvayi moniman sa yo. Li di tou pèp Milo a prèske pa jwenn okenn lavantaj nan touris nan zòn nan, 1997-06-18
(00:00:00) Dieuseul Anglade of the Bureau des Mines et de l'Énergie denies that the Ste. Geneviève mining company is mining gold and silver in Morne Bossa, near Milot. According to Anglade, they are merely sampling. Peasant farmers of the area are resisting the mining company's activities. Anglade says that these peasants are incorrect to denounce mining activities as part of a neoliberal plan for privatization, and that Ste. Geneviève might abandon the project if they continue to meet with resistance, 1997-06-17 (00:05:29) The mayor of Milot articulates the demands of the peasants of the area, including that a dam be built before any mining activities are undertaken. He also describes efforts to protect the Palais Sans Souci and the Citadelle by preventing people from taking over the grounds, but says that the people of Milot do not benefit from tourism to the historical sites, 1997-06-18
