Yon gwoup ti peyizan ale Pak Nasyonal Pik Makaya pou chante lajwa ak lapenn yo. Pou yo menm, Pik Makaya ak tout zòn nan, kote zansèt pa yo soti, se yon sous lavi. Lè mòn nan vinn yon pak nasyonal ki fèmen, yo pa t ka ale ankò.
A group of ti peyizan travel to Parc National Pic Macaya to sing of their joy and their tribulations. They view Pic Macaya mountain and the area around it, from whence their ancestors hailed, as their source of life, and after it was designated a national park, they lost access to it.
Un groupe de petits paysans se rendent au parc national de Macaya pour y chanter leurs joies et leurs peines. Ils considèrent le pic de Macaya et ses alentours – d'où sont issus leurs ancêtres – comme leur source de vie. Après que cet endroit soit devenu un parc national, ils y ont perdu accès.
