  • Rural farmers in Anse-d'Hainault (Grand'Anse) have invaded land formerly owned by SHADA and have been cutting down trees (particularly rubber trees) to make charcoal. They would like for the state to reclaim the land and use it for agro-industry and other purposes that would give them employment. Engineer Alex Lamarre explains.

  • Les paysans de l’Anse d’Hainault, dans la Grande-Anse, ont envahi les terres occupées auparavant par la SHADA, coupant des arbres pour fabriquer du charbon. Ils aimeraient que l’État reprenne ces terres et les utilisent pour de l’agro-industrie et d’autres activités génératrices d’emplois. L’ingénieur Alex Lamarre explique.
