Jean Dominique responds to a series of documents published by Hebdo Jeune Presse concerning the Radio Haiti affair, a lawsuit brought against Jean Dominique and Radio Haiti-Inter by Duvalierist lawyer Constantin Mayard-Paul on behalf of the widow of Ricardo Widmaïer, the founder of the original Radio Haiti. While this was supposedly a civil case concerning the ownership of the radio station, it was in fact a political ploy to silence Dominique and Radio Haïti-Inter.

Jean Dominique répond à une série de documents que l’Hebdo Jeune Presse avait publiés concernant l’affaire Radio Haïti, où Constantin Mayard-Paul, un avocat duvaliériste, avait porté plainte contre Jean Dominique et Radio Haïti Inter au nom de la veuve de Ricardo Widmaïer, le fondateur de la station Radio Haïti originale. Cela devait être une affaire civile concernant la propriété de la radio, mais en réalité il s’agissait d’une tentative de censure politique pour faire taire Dominique et Radio Haïti.
