Minister of Planning Jean-Marie Chérestal describes a series of infrastructure projects (roads, potable water, education, agriculture, and so on) that the Ministry of Planning plans to undertake throughout Haiti with 2 billion Haitian gourdes in funds that the Haitian government received from the European Commission as part of the STABEX program, as established by the Lomé Convention.

Le ministre de la Planification, Jean-Marie Chérestal, décrit une série de projets d’infrastructure (routes, eau potable, éducation, agriculture, etc.) qui vont être mis sur pied par le ministère dans plusieurs régions du pays, avec 2 milliards de gourdes de financement accordés à Haïti par la Commission européenne dans le cadre du programme STABEX, tel qu’établi par l’Accord de Lomé.
