Despite the fact that Aristide repealed taxes on birth certificates, peasants in Plaisance still have to pay thirty-two gourdes for a birth certificate. Courts are still filled with corrupt judges who accept bribes and create land conflicts. Members of Tèt Kole Ti Peyizan explain.
