Conditions in Fort Liberté are very difficult. The people of the area lack infrastructure and there is little rain. Some people buy gasoline in Ouanaminthe, at the Dominican border, to sell. Many people fish. (In Haitian Creole.)
Les conditions de vie à Fort Liberté sont éprouvantes. Les habitants souffrent du manque d'infrastructures et de la faible quantité de pluie. Certains achètent de l'essence à Ouanaminthe, à la frontière dominicaine, pour la revendre. Beaucoup pêchent. (En créole)
