Jou 56yèm anivèsè Radyo Ayiti (17 septanm 1991), Radyo Ayiti fè yon rapèl sou pwòp istwa pa li ak istwa radyo an Ayiti an jeneral. Michèle Montas mennen yon entèvyou avèk Jean Dominique; Dominique eksplike koman Radyo Ayiti te reziste rejim Duvalier a, jan jounalis yo te konn pale andaki. Li eksplike tou ke valorizasyon kilti ayisyen («haïtianité») ak sèvi ak lang kreyòl la se yon taktik rezistans tou. Emisyon an gen ladan l kèk ekstrè sonò François Latour ki t ap fè reklam pou pyès teyat Frankétienne la "Pèlin-Tèt" nan 1979. Li gen ladan l tou mizik Lumane Casimir ak Martha Jean-Claude.
On the 56th anniversary of Radio Haiti (September 17, 1991), the station revisits its own history and the history of radio in Haiti in general. Michèle Montas interviews Jean Dominique; he describes Radio Haiti's resistance to the Duvalier regime and how journalists spoke in veiled or covert ways that everyone nonetheless understood ("pale andaki"), and of how promoting Haitian culture ("haïtianité") and using Creole language were methods of resistance. Includes clips of François Latour promoting Frankétienne's play Pèlin-Tèt in 1979, and songs by Lumane Casimir and Martha Jean-Claude.
