Prezidan Jean-Bertrand Aristide rankontre avèk yon delegasyon peyizan ki soti nan Latibonit, ansanm avèk sòlda ak sivil, epi yon komisyon leta k ap okipe konfli tè nan Latibonit (komisyon sa a gen alatèt li Premye Minis René Préval). President Jean-Bertrand Aristide met with a delegation of peasant farmers from the Artibonite, along with soldiers and civilians, as well as the government commission tasked with resolving land issues in the Artibonite (which was headed by Prime Minister René Préval). Aristide praises this effort to bring farmers and the army together to discuss the land problem, saying that he is proud of the army, the delegation, the commission, and Préval himself.
