  • An eyewitness named Yves Marie describes the violence that broke out in Carrefour when demonstrators attempted to dechouke suspected Macoutes after hearing rumors of a coup d'état. The military fired upon the demonstrators, killing several. A soldier named Guillaume is believed to have fired upon the demonstrators.

  • Un témoin oculaire nommé Yves Marie décrit la violence qui se produisit à Carrefour après que des manifestants eussent vent d'une rumeur de coup d'État et tentèrent de déchouquer des macoutes présumés.
