(00:00:00) Mouvman peyizan Tigwav ap òganize yon manifestasyon, yon mach a flambo, pou mande jistis pou Jean Dominique avèk Jean-Claude Louissaint. Manifestasyon sa a pral gen ladan l peyizan ki soti nan Tigwav, Grangwav, epi Miragwàn. Phoenix Viceron eksplike, 2001-03-07 (00:04:10) Jij enstriksyon Claudy Gassant pale sou ankèt sou asasina Jean Dominique.
(00:00:00) The peasant farmers' movement of Petit-Goâve is organizing a demonstration, a torchlight procession, calling for justice for Jean Dominique and Jean-Claude Louissaint. It will include farmers from Petit-Goâve, Grand-Goâve, and Miragoâne. Phoenix Viceron explains, 2001-03-07 (00:04:10) Investigating judge Claudy Gassant comments on the Jean Dominique case. Dominique investigated several sensitive subjects, so he had many enemies. Gassant himself has been receiving threats. He also discusses the question of parliamentary immunity, which he says is applicable only when a legislator has been accused of a crime, not when a legislator is invited as a witness, 2001-03-18 (00:08:24) Claudy Gassant reacts to the bar association of Port-au-Prince's declaration regarding parliamentary immunity. He says that serving as a witness in a trial is a civic responsibility. It is not the same as an arrest warrant, and parliamentary immunity does not apply, 2001-03-18 (00:13:02) Fondasyon Eko Vwa Jean Dominique and other members of civil society describe the negative effects of impunity and insecurity. Giliane Joubert describes how the climate of insecurity impacts tourism. Dr. Rodolphe Malebranche describes the negative effects on health, especially when doctors like Dr. Harry Bordes are killed. Malebranche and Patrick Elie discuss the problem of brain drain, 2001-03-20
