Sylvio Claude, the leader of the PDCH, denounces General Prosper Avril's calls for dialogue and understanding with perpetrators of human rights abuses as he cracks down and deports opposition political party leaders after declaring a state of seige. Claude believes that Avril's government will not hold free or democratic elections.

Sylvio Claude, dirigeant du PDCH, dénonce l’appel au dialogue et à l’entente avec les bourreaux, fait par le général Prosper Avril, alors qu’il réprime et déporte les dirigeants de l’opposition après avoir déclaré l’état de siège. Claude croit que le gouvernement Avril n’est pas décidé à faire des élections libres et démocratiques.
