  • Après dix ans de travaux, la restauration de la Citadelle Laferrière est achevée. Michèle Montas s'entretient avec l'ingénieur Hérold Pérard, l'ouvrier Pierre Bien-Aimé, Albert Mangonès et Jean Bernardin à propos du projet de restauration, des conditions de travail des ouvriers et de ce que la Citadelle symbolise pour l'histoire, l'identité et la fierté haïtienne.

  • After ten years of work, the Citadelle Laferrière has been restored. Michèle Montas speaks with engineer Hérold Pérard, worker Pierre Bien-Aimé, Albert Mangonès, and Jean Bernardin about the restoration project, the work conditions of the laborers, and the meaning of the Citadelle in terms of Haitian history, identity and pride.
