  • Current and former members of Radio Haiti's team share their memories of the November 28, 1980 crackdown on the independent press and human rights activists, in which most of Radio Haiti's staff were arrested and taken to the Casernes Dessalines and the studio was destroyed. Jacques Jean-Baptiste, Jacques Price, Gérard Hilton, Sonny Bastien, Marvel Dandin, and Liliane Pierre-Paul recall the arrest of Richard Brisson, the fact that no one could find Jean Dominique, and being arrested and subsequently interrogated by Jean Valmé and Albert "Ti Boule" Pierre.
