Le SNEM a répandu de l'insecticide fénitrothion autour de Désarmes dans le cadre du programme d'éradication de la malaria. Les habitants de Désarmes ont rapporté de nombreux problèmes de santé après l'épandage. SNEM has sprayed the insecticide fenitrothion in the area of Désarmes as part of their malaria eradication program. People from Désarmes report health problems after the spraying. They have been instructed not to walk barefoot and to scrub their houses after the spraying, but many of their homes are made of mud and cannot be scrubbed. The insecticide gets into their food as well. They would like SNEM to use a different product instead. A woman from Désarmes explains.
