Yo pa dakò ak ni pèpè ni kontrebann. Yo ta renmen pou peyizan yo ka rete lakay yo, san yo pa chèche lavi nan Pòtoprens.

Peasant farmers from La Chapelle claim their rights. They are against the dam project that will be of no use to them, that is only in the interests of people living in the city, and that the authorities never discussed with the peasants of the Artibonite. They do not want secondhand goods and contraband imports. They would like peasant farmers to be able to stay in their communities of origin rather than looking for a better life in Port-au-Prince.

Les paysans de Lachapelle revendiquent leurs droits.
