Mathon explains why other intellectuals, such as Roger Gaillard, say that Mathon's work fits into the Haitian tradition of "lodyans." He also discusses his novel LE DRAPEAU EN BERNE, 1972 (00:19:14) Jean Dominique and Marcus Garcia report from the National Palace and the airport on the release of US ambassador Clinton Knox and Consul General Ward Christensen, who were kidnapped by two men and one woman demanding the release of political prisoners, 1973-01-24 (00:25:39) An error occurred in the recording of the source tape from which this cassette was made (possibly a multi-track open reel tape).
