  • Konpè Filo reports on the devastation wrought by Hurricane Allen in the area of Les Cayes, particularly in Arniquet. Peasant farmers have lost their homes and their crops, and they need seeds and tools to rebuild and replant, not simply a little bit of money and food aid. Michèle Montas interviews Father Rénald Clérismé, who is originally from Les Cayes, who describes the situation. Circa August 20, 1980.
