  • L’Heure Haïtienne speaks by phone to Haitian journalists and union members who are in exile in Venezuela after the Duvalier government’s November 28, 1980 crackdown. They describe the problems that they are experiencing in Venezuela, and their concern for comrades who are still in prison in Haiti (such as Jacques Price and Berthony Pierre-Paul). L’Heure Haïtienne speaks to Konpè Filo, Yves Richard, Harold Isaac, and Liliane Pierre-Paul. (Also includes music, some of which is playing over the interviews; it appears that the material on the original tape was not erased.)
