Emisyon Lè Ayisyèn, jou 11 septanm 1983. Yo egzije kominote a vin patisipe nan manifestasyon an favè refijye ayisyen, pandan ke Etazini ap lonje dwèt sou ayisyen kòm gwoup ki responsab maladi SIDA Ozetazini. Dennis Brutus, yon powèt epi militan ki soti nan peyi Afrik di Sid, jwenn azil politik Ozetazini. Lè Ayisyèn denonse jan Fèt Travayè (Labor Day) selebre Ozetazini, sitou kanaval kominote ayisyen te òganize pou Fèt Travayè nan Nouyòk -- dapre Lè Ayisyèn, si nou fete Fèt Travayè avèk yon banbòch, se kont enterè travayè yo, epi an favè boujwazi kapitalis la. Gras ak solidarite kominotè, yo te jwenn kòb kosyon, epi 103 pami 104 yo jwenn liberasyon yo, epi dènye a gen pou l libere byento. An Ayiti, Jean-Claude Duvalier chanje konstitisyon an, disoud lachanm lan, epi enstale yon nouvo kabinè. Te gen kèk kochon kreyòl ki te rete sou Zile Latòti, epi gen ekspè ki te kwè yo ta ka sèvi avèk kochon sa yo pou repeple peyi a, men gouvènman an deside touye yo tout, kidonk pa gen yon grenn kochon kreyòl ki rete. Gen pwogram pou konstwi yon baraj idwo-elektrik nan zòn Verèt-Dèchapèl. Baraj sa a ta deplase anpil peyizan, epi li t ap founi elekrisite pou gwo konpayi yo, pa pou pèp la.
L’Heure Haïtienne broadcast from September 11, 1983. They call for the community to participate in and support demonstrations for the rights of Haitian refugees, many of whom are accused of bringing AIDS to the US. South African poet and activist Dennis Brutus received political asylum in the US. L’Heure Haïtienne denounces the Labor Day Carnival organized by the Haitian community in New York — celebrating Labor Day with a party is anti-worker and serves the interests of the capitalist bourgeoisie. They interview attendees of the festival who describe it as a catastrophe. Father Antoine Adrien describes the arrest of 104 Haitian workers during an immigration raid at a factory in New Jersey. Thanks to community solidarity, they raised money to make bail for 103 of the 104, and the last one should be released from prison soon. In Haiti, Jean-Claude Duvalier has changed the constitution, dissolved the legislature, and installed a new cabinet. Some Creole pigs remained on Ile-de-la-Tortue, and some experts believed that perhaps these remaining pigs could be used to repopulate the country, but the government decided to have them killed, and so there are no more Creole pigs in Haiti. There are plans to build a hydroelectric dam in the area of Verrettes-Deschapelles. This dam would displace many peasant farmers, and provide electricity for big companies, not for ordinary people.
