They discuss Haitian-Dominican relations (including migration, expulsions and deportations, antihaïtianismo and the candidacy of José Francisco Peña Gómez, and relations between Préval and Balaguer), the elimination of the Haitian army, Corten's observations of the situation in Port-au-Prince and in the countryside (particularly the Artibonite), and the invasion of US rice, among other subjects.
