There will be DNA tests for a baby abandoned at SODEC hospital. Jean Roland Chéry reports on land conflicts in Quartier Morin between peasants and landowner Georgemain Prophète. Minister of Public Works Serge Raphaël appears as a guest, discussing drainage projects in Port-au-Prince. In international news, President Alberto Fujimori of Peru calls for a third term and decries foreign interference, Al Gore of the United States curries favor with the Cuban population of Miami in the Elián González case, India and Pakistan continue to be in conflict over Kashmir, relations are evolving between the European Union and countries of Africa, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict continues in South Lebanon, and children kidnapped during the Argentine dirty war discover their identities. The daily Inter-Actualités programs were usually recorded, kept for a week, and then erased. These Inter-Actualités were recorded the week before Jean Dominique's assassination.
