Pè Jean « Ti Jan » Pierre-Louis, yon prèt ki preche teyoloji liberasyon, pale sou travay l ap fè avèk gwoupman peyizan Savanèt, kote peyizan yo ap òganize yo pou yo defann tè yo, ak pou defann dwa yo anfas spekilatè kafe. Spekilatè kafe yo ap sèvi avèk kafe kontrebann ki soti nan Dominikani pou bese pri kafe a. Pierre-Louis eksplike sa teyoloji liberasyon an ye: devwa prèt la se pou l travay ansanm avèk pèp la pou yo ka jwenn liberasyon kont enjistis sou latè, se pa sèlman travay spirityèl li dwe fè. Yo pale sou politizasyon yon lòt prèt pwogresis parèy li, Jean-Bertrand Aristide.
Liberation theology priest Father Jean "Ti Jan" Pierre-Louis discusses his work with a grassroots peasants group in Savanette, where peasant farmers have been organizing to defend their land rights and to defend their rights against coffee speculators. Coffee speculators have also been using imported Dominican coffee to keep coffee prices low. Pierre-Louis explains what liberation theology is: the job of a priest is to work with people for their liberation from earthly injustice, not only to do spiritual work. They discuss the politicization of fellow liberation theology priest Jean-Bertrand Aristide.
