Jean Dominique entèvyouve René Théodore, yonn nan responsab Pati Inifye Kominis Ayisyen (PUCH) sou sityasyon politik aktyèl peyi a ap travèse, kote retou makout yo reprezante yon gwo danje pou peyi a, pandan ke li poko klè si eleksyon ki pral fèt yo se eleksyon pwòp osinon eleksyon malatchong. Théodore dekri ostilite ant KNG ak Konsèy Elektoral Pwovizwa (KEP) la, pandan ke KNG a kontinye ap manje otorite KEP la. Li pale tou sou atitid KONAKOM nan gen sou PUCH la; manm KONAKOM yo rete divize sou kesyon si kominis yo dwe fè pati mouvman demokratik la. Théodore eksplike wòl Etazini nan kore diktati Duvalier a epi nan entèfere nan zafè politik Ayiti yo an jeneral.
Jean Dominique interviews René Théodore of the Parti unifié des communistes haïtiens (PUCH) about the current political situation under the Conseil National de Gouvernement, in which the possible return of Macoutes represents a danger to the country, while it remains unclear whether the upcoming elections will be clean or corrupt. Théodore describes the antagonism between the CNG and the Conseil Électoral Provisoire (CEP), as the CNG continues to undermine the CEP's authority. He also discusses KONAKOM's ambivalent attitude toward PUCH; members of KONAKOM remain divided over whether communists should be part of the broader democratic movement. Théodore describes the role of the United States in supporting the Duvalier dictatorship and interfering in Haiti's politics. According to Théodore, the Haitian people need more grassroots representation in the form of "people's committees" (komite popilè) to replace the CNG, which is a de facto government that should not have any real power. However, he disagrees with the actions of Colonel Octave Cayard and a recent popular congress held in Gonaïves, which he says was poorly planned without working together with the people of Gonaïves. Finally, Dominique asks about Théodore's antagonistic relationship with Leslie Manigat.
