  • Émission Inter-Actualité Magazine consacrée à l’Armée d’Haïti, actuellement au pouvoir et qui gère la transition démocratique. Jean Dominique analyse le livre « Armée et politique en Haïti » de Kern Delince, un ancien officier. Il lit quelques extraits d’un témoignage de Roger Dorsinville sur son expérience dans l’armée et sur les rapports entre l’armée et la société civile. Dorsinville comme Delince avaient dû partir en exil pendant le régime Duvalier.

Jean Dominique plays a selection of Himmler Rébu's speech before the Inter-American Defense Board, in which he speaks of the relationship between defense and development of democracy. He then plays audio of Victor Benoît and Michel Soukar discussing the role of the army and the Conseil National de Gouvernement, one day after the 26 April 1986 massacre in front of Fort Dimanche.
