  • Shortly before the 1987 constitutional referendum, members of the CATH labor union discovered documents that proved the existence of a bank account for "special police" units, containing 3.5 million Haitian gourdes that were being used by the Ministry of the Interior, the governor of the Banque Centrale, the Minister of Finance, and the Secretary of State to pay the constitutional assembly. These four members of the public administration claim this is business as usual in Haiti. Guy Alexandre, René Préval, Patrick Elie, and Konpè Filo participate in a round table with Jean Dominique.

  • Peu avant le référendum constitutionnel de 1987, des membres du syndicat ouvrier CATH découvrirent des documents révélant l'existence d'un compte bancaire pour les unités de « police spéciale » contenant 3.5 millions de gourdes haïtiennes utilisé par le ministère de l'Intérieur, le gouverneur de la Banque Centrale, le ministre des Finances et le secrétaire d'État pour payer les membres de l'assemblée constituante. Ces quatre fonctionnaires haut placés se défendent, expliquant que c'est ainsi que se passent les choses en Haïti.
