(00:00:00)Editoryal Jean L. Dominique, «La nuit la plus longue» («Lannwit pi long nan»). Aprè lame fin kraze tantativ koudeta Roger Lafontant an, 6-7 janvye 1991, Jean Dominique bay ochan pou pèp ayisyen («dè milye de Boukman»), ak pou sòlda ki reziste Lafontant yo (sitou «ti sòlda» yo, ak Jeneral Abraham ki te «reziste apèl sirenn» Makout yo). Zak Lafontant fè pati yon konplo ak yon enfiltrasyon divalyeris ki pi vas -- koman yon detwa patizan Lafontant ta rantre nan Palè Nasyonal epi pran prezidan pwovizwa Ertha Pascal-Trouillot si fasilman? Dominique di Makout ak eleman divalyeris toujou la, yo toujou reprezante yon danje pou sosyete a, y ap konsolide pouvwa (sitou nan zòn Delma 31), y ap fè vandalis ak piyaj pou yo ka aflebli prezidan-eli Jean-Bertrand Aristide ak tout sa li reprezante a (twa wòch dife yo: jistis, patisipasyon, ak transparans). Dominique pale sou divizyon ak ensètitid ki egziste andedan lame a -- genyen ki ap kore konstitisyon an ak demokrasi, epi genyen ki divalyeris 1991-01-09(00:32:46)Repòtaj soti Okap sou konfli ant militè yo ak sivil yo, pandan popilasyon an kontinye dechouke anpil divalyeris aprè tantativ koudeta Lafontant an. Bob Lecorps ak Auguste Robinson kouri kite Okap pou rive Fò Libète, kote popilasyon an arete yo. Jean Dominique fè yon rektifikasyon sou sa Radyo Ayiti sot di a, lè yo site non jeneral-an-retrèt Charles Louis nan plas Gérard Louis kòm patisipan nan konplo Lafontant an.(00:37:35)Rony Mondestin (kandida sena MRN) rele soti Okap, pou dekri konfli ant popilasyon an ak lame, sitou nan Site Lesko, aprè tantativ koudeta Lafontant an.(00:42:09)Repòtaj sou dechoukaj militè yo nan Labadi (twazyèm seksyon kominal Ti Rivyè Latibonit).
(00:00:00)Jean L. Dominique's editorial "La nuit la plus longue" ("The Longest Night"). After Roger Lafontant's January 6-7, 1991 coup attempt was crushed by the army, Jean Dominique salutes the Haitian people ("those thousands of Boukmans"), and the soldiers who resisted Lafontant (particularly the low-ranking "ti sòlda" and General Abraham who "resisted the siren song of the Macoutes"). Lafontant's actions were part of a larger plot and Duvalierist infiltration -- how else could a handful of supporters have so easily invaded the National Palace and seized provisional president Ertha Pascal-Trouillot? Dominique cautions against the ongoing threat posed by Macoutes and Macoutism, who are consolidating their power particularly in Delmas 31, unleashing waves of vandalism and pillaging (for example, against the CEP), and undermining recently-elected Jean-Bertrand Aristide and everything he stands for (the "twa wòch dife" -- justice, transparency, and participation). Dominique discusses divisions and uncertainties within the army -- those who support the Constitution and burgeoning democracy, and those who harbor Duvalierist sympathies, 1991-01-09(00:32:46)Report from Cap Haïtien on conflict between military and civilians, as the population continues to violently dechouke Duvalierists after the attempted Lafontant coup. Bob Lecorps and Auguste Robinson fled Cap Haïtien for Fort Liberté, then arrested by the population. Jean Dominique corrects Radio Haiti's error in naming retired General Charles Louis instead of Gérard Louis as part of the Lafontant plot.(00:37:35)Rony Mondestin (MRN Senate candidate) calls from Cap Haïtien , describing conflict between the army and the population, particularly in Cité Lescot, after the attempted Lafontant coup(00:42:09))Report on dechoukaj of military in Labadie (third communal section of Petite-Rivière-de-l'Artibonite).
