Who is responsible for this defamation, wonders Dominique -- Max-Abner Etienne, the editor of l'Union, Minister of Information Anthony Virginie St. Pierre, or General Avril himself? L'Union is reviving the events of 28 November 1980, and justifying the actions of the clique that carried out the crackdown on the independent media (Jean Valmé, Théodore Achille, Henri Bayard, Michèle Bennett, and especially Minister of Information Jean-Marie Chanoine).
