  • Rencontre entre le président Aristide, le premier ministre René Préval, le ministre des Travaux publics, Frantz Verella, d’autres ministres du gouvernement, et des représentants d’organisations populaires. Les participants présentent leurs opinions sur la politique économique, surtout les prêts du FMI et le programme d’ajustement structurel pour Haïti. Les membres des organisations constatent que le régime Duvalier a pillé les caisses de l’État, et que c’est un des pays du FMI, la France, qui a accueilli Jean-Claude Duvalier à son départ d’Haïti.
