  • Mayor of Pétionville Sully Guerrier, mayor of Delmas Jean Maxon Guerrier, and director general of the municipal government of Carrefour Ricov Michel Mathieu discuss the roles and challenges of the municipal governments of the communes of the larger Port-au-Prince metropolitan area. In part two of their conversation, they discuss the legislative aspects of municipal governance in their respective communes, focusing on problems of urban planning and zoning such as uncontrolled building and the profusion of bidonvilles.

Durant cette deuxième rencontre, ils discutent des aspects législatifs de la gouvernance dans leurs mairies respectives, en mettant l’accent sur les problèmes de planification urbaine et de zonage, en lien avec les constructions anarchiques et la bidonvilisation.
