He declares that Marilien Jean was his superior officer, to which the prosecution asks how it is possible that Marilien Jean was out on the water participating in the Raboteau massacre while he was on land. They ask about the police's mandate to "protect and servce" and whether Sauveur protected and served the population of Raboteau. Sauveur claims not to have understood the declaration he previously made before investigating judge Jean Sénat Fleury, and that he did not have a lawyer representing him (even though the record shows he was assisted by attorney Marcel Jean-Pierre). Examination of defendant Orlando Tima begins. He claims not to have participated in the Raboteau massacre.
