  • Interrogatoire d’Amazan Jean-Libert, un des accusés du procès de Raboteau. Il déclare qu’il était en congé à l’époque du massacre, il rendait visite à sa mère malade au Cap-Haïtien. C’est par la suite, en écoutant la radio de Port-au-Prince, qu’il a apprit le massacre de Raboteau. Dans sa déposition devant le cabinet d’instruction, Amazan avait déclaré être à la caserne lors du massacre, maintenant il déclare avoir été chez lui. Le ministère public demande quel est le mensonge. Si, comme l’a déclaré Wilson Casséus, le peloton était en condition D, tous les soldats avaient l’obligation d’être présents. Donc, comment Amazan pouvait-il être en congé? L’interrogatoire de l’accusé Gesner Phénélon commence. Phénélon était en charge de la cafétéria de la caserne Toussaint Louverture des Gonaïves.

  • Interrogation of Amazan Jean-Libert, one of the defendants in the Raboteau trial. He claims that he was on leave when the Raboteau massacre occurred, visiting his sick mother in Cap-Haïtien, and that he only heard about it later, on the radio in Port-au-Prince. In his previous deposition in front of the investigating judge, he claimed to have been at the barracks at the time, and now he is claiming to have been home -- the ministère public asks which one is the lie. If, as Wilson Casséus claims, the platoon was on Condition D, all soldiers would have been required to be there. How, then, was Amazan on leave? Interrogation of defendant Gesner Phénélon begins. Phénélon was the officer in charge of the cafeteria at the Casernes Toussaint Louverture in Gonaïves.
