  • Continuation of Lucien Antoniel's testimony. Defense argues that according to his testimony, soldiers only discussed beating and plucking the eyes out of the people they arrested; they never said they were going to kill them -- therefore the witness is unreliable. Eliancy responds to these accusations, claiming he wasn't in Gonaïves and has no knowledge of any of it. Castera says he does not know Antoniel and denies these accusations. Testimony of Rony Jean Noël begins. He describes being arrested, handcuffed, and beaten by Eliancy, and seeing the other men arrested and tied together. His pregnant wife was beaten and had a miscarriage. He saw Castera, Timo, Ménard and Adéclat participating in the violence at Raboteau. Defense attorney claims that every witness today is testifying against Eliancy, so clearly they have planned this together.

  • Suite du témoignage d'Antoniel Lucien. Selon la défense, puisque Lucien a indiqué dans sa déclaration que les soldats avaient seulement parlé de tabasser et de crever les yeux de leurs prisonniers – et non pas de les tuer –, il n'est pas un témoin fiable. Eliancy répond aux accusations contre lui ; il prétend qu'il ne se trouvait pas aux Gonaïves pendant le massacre et qu'il n'est au courant de rien concernant ce dernier. Castera, lui, dit ne pas connaître Antoniel et rejette les accusations contre lui. Le témoin Rony Jean Noël vient à la barre pour raconter comment il fut arrêté, menotté et tabassé par Eliancy. Il vit aussi les autres prisonniers attachés ensemble. Sa femme, qui fut battue, fit une fausse couche. Il vit Castera, Timo, Ménard et Adéclat participer aux violences. Les avocats des accusés ergotent de nouveau – il font remarquer que tous les témoins du jour accusent Eliancy et doivent donc être de mèche.
