  • President of the tribunal Napela Saintil explains that certain defendants have multiple attorneys because some attorneys, for example Samuel Madistin, are still in training and cannot be in court every day. Defense attorney Luc B. Pierre gives his opinion on how the trial is going: he believes that all the witnesses with the exception of Roland Paphius and Judge Dorismond are lying. Concerning the defense lawyers who are not coming to court, Pierre says he understands why they would not want to participate in a parody of justice. The journalist asks, is this not a violation of their clients' rights? Defense attorney Stanley Gaston explains why some defense attorneys are not coming to court: they have been called to court, but they are not making any money for participating in the Raboteau trial. Defense attorneys argue that witness Georges Alfred testified about events that occured before the Raboteau massacre, and are therefore not relevant to the trial. Witness Sonson Déstrat describes the killing of elderly blind man Valcius Valcin by FRAPH and soldiers. That day he saw Walmyr accompanied by Léxima, Yofou, Oléus, and Luckner but did not see them participating in violent acts. Walmyr picked Valcius Valcin off the ground. Defense attorneys ask whether Valcin was sick, and whether this might have caused his death. Witness states that Valcin was physically well and died from being beaten. Defendants Léxima, Yofou and Oléus accuse the witness of lying.

Il dit comprendre les avocats qui ne viennent pas à l'audience – selon lui, ils ne veulent pas participer à une parodie judiciaire. Le journaliste demande si ceci n'est pas une violation des droits de leurs clients. D'après Stanley Gaston, un autre avocat de la défense, cet absenteisme s'explique par le fait que bien que les hommes de loi aient été convoqués au tribunal, ils ne gagnent pas d'argent pour leur participation au procès de Raboteau. Les avocats des accusés ergotent : selon eux, le témoignage de Georges Alfred est irrecevable parce qu'il concerne des événements qui eurent lieu avant le massacre. Le témoin Sonson Déstrat vient à la barre pour décrire le meurtre de Valcius Valcin, un viel homme aveugle, par des soldats et des membres des FRAPH. Il vit Walmyr accompagné de Léxima, Yofou, Oléus et Luckner ce jour-là, mais ne les vit pas directement prendre part au massacre. Walmyr releva Valcius Valcin après son passage à tabac. Les avocats des accusés demandent si Valcin était malade, et si sa mort pourrait être imputée à sa santé. Sonson Déstrat répond qu'il était en bonne forme physique et qu'il succomba sous les coups de ses agresseurs. Les accusés Léxima, Yofou et Oléus l'accusent de mentir.
