Ernst Pedro Casséus, MOP candidate, and Father Amos Georges, independent candidate, discuss their candidacies for senator of the Ouest department. Father Georges discusses his origins as a liberation theology priest and addresses the question of why he is not running under Fanmi Lavalas, the party of Jean-Bertrand Aristide. Each candidate discusses his respective platform. Casséus is primarily concerned with supporting national agricultural production and creating effective agrarian reform. Father Georges has twenty-one points, one of which is the resurrection of the army of 1804, with which Casséus strongly disagrees.

Le Père Georges explique ses origines, comme prêtre formé en théologie de la libération, et il explique pourquoi il n’est pas candidat de Fanmi Lavalas, le parti de Jean-Bertrand Aristide. Chacun des candidats explique sa plateforme. Casséus compte encourager la production nationale, la production agricole et créer une réforme agraire efficace.
