  • Victor Benoît, responsable de KONAKOM et de la coalition Espace de Concertation pour la Sauvegarde de la Démocratie, parle de sa candidature au sénat. Il souligne les différences entre KONAKOM et le Fanmi Lavalas et critique la corruption au sein de ce dernier ainsi que son manque de respect pour la constitution et les structures démocratiques depuis le retour d'Aristide. Il présente son programme : si il est élu, il renforcera la police et développera l’Artibonite. Le candidat de Lavalas, Joseph Médard, devait venir mais annula à la dernière minute ; ceci marque la troisième fois qu'un candidat de Lavalas annule sa présence sur Radio Haïti.

He highlights the differences between KONAKOM and Fanmi Lavalas, and criticizes Lavalas's corruption and lack of respect for the constitution and democratic structures since Aristide's return. He discusses his plans should he be elected senator, including strengthening the police and development in the Artibonite. Lavalas candidate Joseph Médard was supposed to come, but cancelled; this is the third time Lavalas candidates have cancelled their appearances on Radio Haiti.
