Chavannes Jean-Baptiste, ki se responsab Mouvman Peyizan Papay (MPP-MPNKP), Patrick Elie ki se yonn nan responsab Eko Vwa Jean Dominique, epi Claire Lydie Parent ki se ansyen majistra Petyonvil epi manm PADEMH ak Inyon Patriyotik, pale sou kriz politik aktyèl Ayiti a, kisa ki lakòz kriz la, epi koman peyi a ka soti nan kriz la. Yo pale sou divizyon politik epi chirepit ant faksyon politik, sitou pwoblèm pati Lavalas la.
Chavannes Jean-Baptiste of Mouvman Peyizan Papay (MPP-MPNKP), Patrick Elie of Eko Vwa Jean Dominique, and former mayor of Pétionville Claire Lydie Parent (currently of PADEMH and the Union Patriotique) discuss Haiti's current political crisis, the causes of the crisis, and how Haiti might emerge from the crisis. They discuss political divisions and infighting between political factions, particularly the problems of the Lavalas party. They analyze how the hope of the Haitian people for free and fair elections in 1987 and 1990 has been crushed -- people are now discouraged and cynical about elections. According to Elie, it is not merely a question of "insecurity" as the 1987 and 1990 elections were also fraught with violence; the problem is that Haitian democracy is now a "pèpè democracy" that foreign powers are trying to shove down Haiti's throat.
