  • Representatives of the Organisation Nationale des Marchands et des Etalagistes d'Haïti (ONAMED) and representatives of the "ti machann" of La Saline and Croix-des-Bossales denounce acts of violence and arson against merchants in the Croix-des-Bossales market. This violence followed the March 27, 2000 murder of Jean Samedi, member of a organisation populaire (grassroots organization) from La Saline. Speakers believe that the CEP is responsible, because the violence broke out over a shortage of voter registration cards. Paul Raymond of TKL and René Civil of JPP blame the international community for infiltrating the voting process and engineering an "electoral coup d'état" and name Olivier Nadal as being part of this infiltration. They also discuss violence against journalists Guy Delva and Thony Bélizaire.

Cette violence fait suite au meurtre de Jean Samedi, un membre d'une organisation populaire de La Saline tué le 27 mars 2000. Selon les invités, le responsable n'est autre que le CEP, puisque le conflit initial émergea suite à une pénurie de cartes électorales. Paul Raymond de TKL et René Civil de JPP accusent la communauté internationale d'avoir infiltré le processus électoral afin d'orchestrer un « coup d'État électoral ». Ils nomment Olivier Nadal comme faisant partie du complot. Ils abordent aussi la violence à l'encontre des journalistes Guy Delva et Thony Bélizaire.
