Ce film examine la vie de Mireille Pérodin Jérôme, sa carrière, son attachement à Carrefour, son mariage avec Jean-René Jérôme, et aussi les raisons pour lesquelles elle pense qu´elle vient juste, à l´âge de 50 ans, commencer sa vie. Ce film inclut des musiques originales de jazz composes par Turgot Théodat. Laurence Magloire parle également de son experience en tant que réalisatrice de films pour enfants à Radio Canada.

The film examines Pérodin Jérôme's life, including her career, her attachment to the neighborhood of Carrefour, her marriage to Jean-René Jérôme, and her sense that at the age of fifty, she is just getting started. The film included original jazz compositions by Turgot Théodat. Magloire also discusses her experience making children's films for Radio Canada.
